When submitting an expense claim for transportation costs that includes mileage registration in accordance with the Personal Mobility Act (WPM), several additional fields are available when creating the claim.

Submitting a Travel Expense Claim

Within the travel expense claim form, the fields “Mode of Transport” and “Type of Travel” are visible. The calculated distance will later be used in the WPM reporting.

Standard Expense Claim

Since trips by taxi or rental car must also be recorded, WPM fields are also shown in the form used to submit receipts. Because transportation costs make up a smaller portion of this type of claim, the claimant must first indicate that the claim concerns “transportation costs.” Once the claimant enables this option by toggling the switch, additional fields will appear to collect the necessary information for WPM reporting.
